SAMPLE RECIPE Walleye Fillets in Wine Sauce | 2-4 WALLEYE fillets (bass or crappie)
1/4 cup ONlON, chopped
1 CLOVE GARLIC
2 Tbsp. BUTTER or oil
1 sm. TOMATO, finely chopped
1/2 cup DRY WHITE WINE
1 Tbsp. snipped PARSLEY
SALT and PEPPER to taste
2 tsp. CORNSTARCH
In skillet cook onion and garlic in butter until tender. Add fish fillets, tomato, wine, parsley, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat 10-15 minutes or till fish flakes easily. Remove fish and set aside Mix milk and cornstarch until blended; add to skillet Cook until thick and bubbly. Pour over fillets. |
